AD Witness

W I T N E S S

July 31 – September 7, 2015

Dennis Snyder is an experienced painter who has trained his creative eye on the East End landscape and it’s changes over the years.  Snyder’s work offers more than the traditional landscape,  juxtaposing elements in a surprising, at times surreal way, confronting the viewer with a thought provoking commentary on our contemporary landscape.  Kathryn Szoka’s new photographic series, WITNESS, explores modern themes, including isolation, discrimination, and others, through her camera’s lens.

Landscapes:  Real & Imagined

November 21, 2014 – January 31, 2015

Landscapes Real Imagined 1000dpi

Pamela Collins Focarino will exhibit her latest oil & venetian plaster paintings on board. Focarino’s techniques builds up a beautifully textured surface, enlivened with rich colors. Her work focuses on light, and the color and texture of clouds and water. Pat Moran will exhibit his reverse paintings on glass and monotype prints. Moran’s haunting monochromatic palate conjures fanciful landscapes with flying trees & other worldly tones. Kathryn Szoka will exhibit a selection from her ongoing Vanishing Landscapes (c) series and hometown Sag Harbor images.
